The Woodland Terrace Nursing Center is a welcoming, comfortable home designed for dignified living with supportive health care services. We offer flexible services and activities to help residents live at their highest level of ability with a lifestyle that focuses on personal preferences and choices.
The care team focuses on maintaining and improving residents’ health so they can achieve their highest level of functioning. Licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants provide 24-hour care according to physicians’ orders. Physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services are provided on-site. Palliative care and hospice services are also available to manage pain and bring comfort at the end stage of life.
All Woodland Terrace residents benefit from a full schedule of activities designed to keep their minds, bodies and spirits energized. Our expressive therapies— art, music, pet and horticultural activities—tap into individual creativity as a source of healing and growth. Other activities—such as exercise groups, reminiscing, games, community outings and special celebrations—help residents stay connected to family, community and the good things in life they have always enjoyed.
Our Chaplaincy Program supports residents’ spiritual needs and faith through worship services, Bible study groups, devotions, sacraments and personal visits. Our chaplain ministers to all residents—of all faiths—in partnership with their home pastors and congregations.
Our other support services—dining services, social services, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, transportation and volunteers—bring special touches to residents’ rooms and take care of the behind-the-scene details that help make each resident’s stay at Woodland Terrace feel as much like home as possible.
Skilled nursing care and rehabilitation helps residents with continued recovery following a hospital stay.
Skilled care is often a necessary transition for those recovering from a stroke, heart attack, surgery, fracture or other health conditions before returning home from the hospital. Skilled Care services, located in a designated wing on first floor of Woodland Terrace, provide spacious private rooms, telephones and basic cable TV. Families and visitors are always welcome.
Our in-house team of physical, occupational and speech therapists lead skilled care residents in their rehabilitation regimens to rebuild strength and abilities. Our goal is to help our skilled residents reach their highest level of functioning as soon as possible. From the day residents arrive, we begin their discharge planning to make sure they can safely return to their own home or to an alternative setting that will best meet their needs.
