Dear residents, staff, families and supporters,
Thank You for all of your support, wisdom, encouragement and strength in 2022! These are the things that keep us resilient in turbulent times! In 2022, we had many accomplishments with a focus on quality resident care, facility improvements, information technology upgrades, recruitment, retention, workforce, wellness and communication. Covid was and is still a part of the everyday here and will be part of our infection control manual from here on out.
In 2023, the goals for the organization will be focusing on ways to improve the care and services we provide, improve our workforce and use technology to help make the staff more efficient, expand Bartels At Home options, review all housing options on and off campus, including our new development Anna Estates! We will also ensure our financial stability and use our mission, vision and values to guide all decisions throughout the new year.
The Covid update: Everyone on first floor of Woodland Terrace has been recovered, but there are cases of Covid on second floor Woodland Terrace. There are no cases of Covid in Evergreen Arbor, Linden Place, or Eichhorn Haus. There was one case of Covid in Aspen Cottage. There are 2-3 staff out with Covid/influenza-type symptoms. All residents and staff are doing well. Worship service will be held on Sunday in the Chapel for those in the areas not impacted with Covid. Pastor Mike will continue to provide services separately on second floor of Woodland Terrace.
Our 2023 wish is to bring love, joy and compassion to the residents, staff, families and community we serve. To open our hearts to forgiveness and give us strength to keep going when things get tough, and surround ourselves with good people who have good intentions.
It is a good year to have a good year!
