The Good Shepherd Fund – Lend a helping hand to our residents who need additional funds to cover the full cost of their care.
With your support, the Good Shepherd Fund will ensure our residents will have a home at Bartels, regardless of their ability to pay.

The Good Shepherd Fund will mean different things to different people. For some, it will be an opportunity to bless others through a generous gift; to residents it may offer the security of knowing they have a lifelong home.
It is this spirit of neighbor helping neighbor which allows Bartels to strengthen our mission of enriching lives through quality services and Christian care.

It is a situation almost anyone can be up against. Despite the best financial planning for retirement, many are faced with exhausting their resources years ahead of schedule due to the rising cost
of living, declining investments or living many years past what was anticipated.
Circumstances like these are increasingly common and make it very difficult for residents to pay for the full cost of their housing and care. In many of these situations, some government funding
is available, but often these funds don’t come close to meeting the full cost of care.
The Good Shepherd Fund is a benevolent assistance fund designed for our residents who need additional financial aid.
